Open Flood Risk by Postcode

Description

Open Flood Risk by Postcode combines the Environment Agency's Risk of Flooding from Rivers and Sea with English postcodes from Open Postcode Geo. Each postcode is supplemented with the information from the flood risk area in which it is located. Postcodes are treated as a single point in space, allowing for the postcode to be looked up and the flood risk determined for that point. Note the value of SUITABILITY for a given area for how suitable the risk level is for a given purpose.

Important: We have taken a single point within the postcode and identified the flood risk area which that point falls within. There maybe other points within the postcode which fall into a different area, and hence have a different risk level.
